Yes, a free registration is required for every download. Without an account (Free License), you can only listen to 90-second previews of the tracks on the website. Once logged in, you can access all downloads and use them, according to your chosen license level.

If you cancel your paid membership your status will automatically be downgraded to the Free License. Please note: Once your active term ends, you lose the permission to download music for new projects, as well as access to the dynamically generated license certificates (Proof of your right of use). But why would you ever cancel? This isn’t a subscription! Pay once – valid for life!

The Free License is for private listening only (no publishing allowed). The Basic License allows usage in your own productions (e.g., social media videos) with mandatory credit to the composer. The Advanced License is designed for comprehensive commercial use (e.g., advertising, public broadcast) and does not require any attribution. The Ultimate License provides all Advanced benefits and additionally allows you to use the music within projects for your third-party clients, including the ability to issue personalized client certificates.

Yes, that is exactly what the Ultimate tier is tailored for. When exporting a PDF license from your dashboard, you will have the option to enter the name of your specific end-client or organization. The system then automatically generates an official certificate issued directly to your client’s name, providing them with full legal security for their project.

Yes. All tracks downloaded during your active term are permanently licensed to you. You may use these tracks indefinitely for your projects under the terms of your chosen license. The only requirement is, that the download occurred while your license was active. But why would you ever cancel? This isn’t a subscription! Pay once – valid for life!

With the Basic License, attribution is mandatory (see above). Users with an Advanced License or an Ultimate License are free to use the music completely without crediting the author.

The playlists on our website are intended for quick browsing and therefore play 90-second previews. The actual downloads always contain the full-length track. You can find the exact duration of the full version in the tracklist located below each playlist.

For each track (each piece of music) you can download an individual license certificate what is dynamically generated, when you download a track. You can find the links to download these PDF Files in your account (profile).

Our Tip: Always download the certificate (Proof of your right of use) immediately when you use a track for a project and store it with your project files. This ensures you have your legal proof ready at all times.

You can find the link to your certificates directly on your account/profile page. When you are logged in, a link is located in the right sidebar as well as at the very bottom of the page below the footer. This link will take you straight to your personal certificate dashboard.

If you are an Ultimate member, you can issue the license certificate directly to your client’s name by entering their name during the PDF export. This certificate provides full legal security for your client’s project. The end-client receives the necessary usage rights for the integrated project, while the ownership of the download account remains securely with you.

Since we are the sole owners of all rights on this platform, claims are easy to resolve. If a platform disputes your usage (or your client’s usage), simply submit a copy of your license certificate (Proof of your right of use, PDF). The claim will usually be cleared shortly thereafter. A notice: Don’t forget to download the corresponding license certificate for each piece of music you download and use, and save it along with your project files.
